Tall Girls,
If you have not noticed, your height is a gift.
Handle with care because if you do not than others will not either. Stand tall and embrace your gift.

Hello Tallgirlexperience,

My name is Tina I am 6'0" tall and I live near Blackpool, Lancashire in the U.K.
I know just like most of you ladies out there how hard it is to find clothes to fit, It's not just the leg length in trousers/pants I need a 36" inseam which is reasonably difficult.
We have some high street shops that have a "tall department" not that well stocked but you can get a few odd items, it is just that it is so limiting proably a choice of 2 or 3 styles of tousers if you are lucky in Black and possibly Grey if you are even luckier and thats it. But as I am sure that a lot of you it's not just legs that give us a problem in clothes every other part of us is a different proportion toshorter people, Arm length, Waist is in a different position, Boobs are in a different positon. I am tired of doing belts up around my ribs and having seams and darts for the boobs in th wrong position.
I would love to shop like shorter people and be able to go in every shop and choose from a vast array of clothes but I can't. Well I decided to stop moaning about it and do something constructive about the tall problem.

After a lot of research contacting lots of different companies and being sent from pillar to post I have finally found a company that say they can offer "TAILOR MADE" clothes to ANY size, changing the proportions to suit each individual person and at a fraction of the cost to what most standard tailors/seamstresses would charge.
The first thing I am going to do is to get them to make me some clothes and see what the quality and sizes come back like. I seriously think I am going to be impressed from what I have seen so far, I can either choose from what is in there catalogue or I can give them an item of clothing and they will make a match in my size or even give them a photograph of an item I would like and they can make it from that.

I would like any ladies out there to let me know:
1. what your personal problems are with buying clothes incase they are different from mine.

2. Any other ideas you may have.

3. any questions that I can help with.

4. If you know of anyone that may have any other problems with clothes i.e. very short maybe too tall for petite ranges, or maybe larger sizes as in XXL etc...

If you would like more info on my new business venture, then please feel free to contact me either through this blog or on my new blog (not much info on there at the moment but I will get that sorted soon) or you can e-mail me from my profile on this blog.

Love to all you ladies
